Fawad Alam

Fawad Alam Biography 

Fawad Alam (born October 8, 1985 in Karachi) is a Pakistani first class cricket. He is primarily a left-handed batsman but bowls left arm orthodox slow hand. His father Tariq had a long career of class in Pakistan. Making his first class debut at the age of 17, played for Pakistan Customs and Karachi Fawad. He impressed enough to be selected to play in World Cup U-19, who won Pakistan. Fawad appeared in the domestic 2006-07 season, finishing as top scorer in the fifth-highest career Trophy Quaid-e-Azam. 


It took a long 5 foot in the Twenty20 Cup final which earned him Man of the Match and was also named Man of the Series, Best Batsman and Best Bowler. After disappointing World Cup campaign Pakistan, Alam was recruited by a squad of men 16 years to one day international series against Sri Lanka in Abu Dhabi. His ODI debut in the third was to forget, was captured and shot by a ball Dilhara Fernando duck.His first few seconds of an international day was a better experience, since he contributed unbeaten 32 races down the order as Pakistan defeated India by 31 runs in Jaipur. Between these two parties, traveled to South Africa as part of the selection for the tournament in Pakistan 2007 ICC World Twenty20.
